Founded in 1994, MVTS Technologies is a global, full-service provider of refurbished Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to the semiconductor industry. MVTS extends the life of legacy ATE by providing access to “out of production” used equipment, spare parts and services. With an extensive inventory and a wide range of products, MVTS positions itself as the ATE Capacity Partner to its customers.

MVTS has an unprecedented business model of partnering with OEMs. The concept of establishing these relationships came from MVTS’ desire to distinguish itself from the “broker market.” Each OEM relationship is different in areas of sales, service and support. The overall objective of these relationships is to provide users with a single source for legacy product support across multiple platforms.

The current business model was originally pioneered between MVTS and LTX Corporation. Over time the relationship expanded to include multiple product lines and collaboration on various services. MVTS has since added Teradyne Corporation, Credence, Verigy and RVSI LS Series to its portfolio and continues to add additional OEM relationships to further diversify its services and product lines while at the same time remaining platform neutral.
