The SR5 NIC is the latest in MVTS’ family of test system upgrade products, enhancing the value of customers’ production equipment.
This new upgrade package brings the LTX Synchro controller workstation to current supportable technology.
The obsolete Themis, Sun UltraSPARC and HP/Apollo workstations interfacing TC2, TC1, or VME crate are no longer supported by LTX or Sun/HP.
The new workstation will run a new version of LTX Synchro SR5.8, which will be provided by MVTS.
No changes should be required to test programs.
The parts being replaced in this upgrade are:
- The computer workstation
- Workstation PCI based VME controller board
- Tester computer VME interface board
- Cabling from computer to tester
- Firmware on the TC68030 processor board
Improved reliability provides a stable production environment.
Backward compatible with customer developed tools, no recompilation is necessary.
- Tools must be compiled on Solaris 2.5.1 or later OS.
