The MVMASTER is a CPU replacement for the Trillium Master Series Test System. It is a drop-in replacement for the DomainOS based system. The software emulates an Apollo computer running DomainOS. This will allow existing test programs to be used without modification or recompilation.
The new platform is based on the Windows® NT operating system. Significant advantages are gained by moving to this platform. One is the integration of the Trillium Test System into today's high-speed networks that are based on Windows® NT and UNIX. This will allow for greater ease of administration because the system administrator will not need to learn a new operating system. Another advantage is scalability. Since this software is based on PC architecture, the systems can be upgraded and expanded very easily and at a lower cost. Maintenance becomes a much easier task as well.
