MVTS Penang Calibration Lab receives Certificate of Accreditation in Malaysia
MVTS Penang Calibration Lab receives Certificate of Accreditation from Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM) Effective December 8, 2006, and valid until December 8, 2009, the MVTS Technologies Penang Calibration Lab has earned the Certificate of Accreditation from DSM. The accreditation is subject to the terms governed by Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM), the Laboratory Accreditation Scheme of Malaysia. It is also noted that this MVTS calibration laboratory is accredited in accordance with the recognized international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005. This accreditation recognizes the technical competence for a defined scope and the operational of a laboratory-quality management system. "The MVTS global operations management team acknowledges the need for the highest quality in its infrastructure and facilities. Pursuing this accreditation adds value and provides superior quality to our calibration service customers," said Noel Donovon, MVTS Chief Operating Officer.
