Prerequisites:
Preferably, the student will be skilled in the use of Windows NT before attending this course. However, a short
introduction to the Kalos computing environment will be provided. This will give the student (if needed) the basic
skills required to complete the class.
Course Overview:
This course teaches the experienced Test Engineer or Product Engineer how to develop a basic tester program
using the KITE GUI interface using standard KITE tools as well as Kedit. The student will also learn to use the
Kalos tester tools to perform debug and characterization tasks.
Course Materials:
Kalos Basic Applications Workbook contains the topics as they are covered day to day as well as the labs that will be
completed during the length of the course. The Kite Reference Manual will describe the Kalos software and how it is
used to create test program for testing devices. The Kalos Users Manual will describe Kalos Configurations and system
description as well as user operations. Also included is the Calibration and Maintenance procedures.
