Training Courses at the MVTS Training Centers
MVTS Training Centers are located at MVTS Technologies Headquarters in Carlsbad, Calif., USA and MVTS Technologies, Bangkok, Thailand. Contact your MVTS representative for further information.
MVTS regularly conducts standard training courses at our Training Centers. Courses provide instruction in the programming, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of LTX legacy test systems and products.
In general, class registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. In some cases, since class sizes are limited and courses may be oversubscribed, a customer may be limited to one attendee for a particular session of the course. Course enrollment is confirmed upon payment of the course registration fee.
Course Registration: Complete the Training Registration Form and provide the appropriate purchase order for your requested course and e-mail this to traininginfo@mvts.com.
Confirmation for your requested course will be e-mailed once availability has been confirmed. In the event space is not available for the requested course, available alternatives will be suggested in the return e-mail.
Course Cost and Payment: For training at MVTS Training Centers, the cost for the course has two components: 1) a registration fee and 2) a course fee.
Registration Fee: All courses have a registration fee of $350 USD, per attendee, not including local taxes. Payment of registration fees insures a confirmed, reserved place for the student in the class, and covers administrative and course material costs.
Course Fee: Course fees vary based on the class.
Payment: Payment is accepted in the form of a check or Purchase Order (P.O.). Full course payment must be received by MVTS at least 15 days prior to the commencement of the course to guarantee registration.
Training Courses at Non-MVTS Facilities
Upon request, MVTS will conduct training courses at facilities other than the MVTS Training Center. Scheduling of and enrollment for these courses is subject to the availability of MVTS personnel to conduct the courses, and sufficient access to appropriate LTX products and systems for the hands-on components of the course.
When the course is at your facility, you will need to make available for its duration: 1) a suitable classroom and 2) appropriately equipped test systems and workstations in quantities proportional to the number of attendees for use during the hands-on sections of the course.
Cost and Payment for Training at Customer Facilities: MVTS will prepare a quotation containing details of course type, duration, customer equipment requirements and an estimate of expenses. The cost of conducting an on-site training course consists of a single, inclusive course charge plus expenses. Expenses include all travel, lodging, meals, and other related expenses of MVTS personnel involved in presenting the course.
Custom Training Course Development
MVTS can develop custom training courses for a range of disciplines across various technical areas. Custom course development work is carried out on a mutual agreement basis using a defined, detailed statement of work that outlines the tasks, deliverables and compensations. Course development commences on agreement on the statement of work and payment for work product.
MVTS grants the customer all rights, title and interest to work product for courses designed and delivered from such engagement.
Training Course Materials
MVTS will provide the materials necessary to carry out the instruction of classes on its then published customer training schedule, specific customer-purchased on-site training, WBT and CBT classes or courses. Participants may retain course materials used within the course without additional charge, other than the course registration fee and use of training seat.
Additional course materials may be purchased at the current MVTS training material prices. Course materials at all times shall be the exclusive property of MVTS and LTX and may not be copied or used, except for their original intent, by participants. Documentation remains the property of MVTS under copyright law and cannot be used without the express written consent of MVTS.
